This privacy policy applies to the Fianchetto app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Dawikk (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
In short: Fianchetto is an offline-first app. Your chess games, analyses, puzzles, statistics and settings are stored only on your device. The Service Provider does not operate any servers, does not require an account, and never receives or stores your data. The only data leaving your device is (1) what advertising providers collect to show ads, and (2) the public games you choose to download when you enter a Lichess or Chess.com username.
The Application is designed to work offline and stores all of your content locally on your device. This includes your games, imported PGN/FEN positions, analyses, puzzles, training progress, statistics and app settings. This information is kept on your device only and is never transmitted to the Service Provider.
The Application does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address or any other personal contact details to use its core features.
The Application uses Google AdMob (and its mediation partners) to display advertisements. To serve and measure ads, these advertising providers may collect information such as:
This data is collected and processed by the advertising providers under their own privacy policies (see "Third Party Access" below), not by the Service Provider.
If you choose to enter a Lichess or Chess.com username, the Application will contact the public Lichess and Chess.com APIs directly to download your publicly available games. No login, password or OAuth is required, and your username is stored only on your device. These requests are subject to the privacy policies of Lichess and Chess.com.
If you enable the optional daily reminder, the Application schedules a local notification on your device. These notifications are generated entirely on-device; no push server or external messaging service is used.
Location Data: The Application does not request, collect or gather precise location information from your mobile device.
The Application relies on third-party services that have their own privacy policies governing how they handle data. Because your data is stored only on your device, it is retained for as long as the Application is installed, and is removed when you delete it in-app or uninstall the Application. The Service Provider does not retain copies of your data on any server. If you have any questions about data handling, you can contact the Service Provider at dawikk.apps@gmail.com and they will respond in a reasonable time.
The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13 years of age. In the event the Service Provider discovers that a child under 13 has provided personal information, such information will be deleted as soon as reasonably possible.

The Service Provider is concerned about safeguarding the confidentiality of your information.
Please note that no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and the security of data handled by third-party advertising providers is governed by their own policies.
